A one hour training certificate will be given for each training video with its required assignments. View and Reflect is approved by the Oregon Child Care Division. The Learning Circle I and II - two training programs that come to you

(Currently only for Washington County providers)

TLC is a literacy-based program designed to stimulate the love of reading among children of all ages. The TLC program provides training to providers in their environment. The TLC-I trainer will model stimulating story times and related activities with the children in each provider’s care. The TLC-II trainer helps caregivers develop literacy-based curriculum and parent/child literacy activities.

Trainers of TLC are available to teachers and providers in Washington County. We provide six one-hour training sessions in child care centers, family child care homes, and preschools. TLC is scheduled at the convenience of the provider or center.

The Learning Circle creates a literacy-rich environment for children to help them increase their love of reading. To obtain more information about TLC-I or TLC-II call 971.223.6100.
